Lets see...a quarter is 1 inch..well .955 across. a .308 is well....308 across. that would mean the maximum number of 308 holes you can fit across touching 3 in a perfect world with no real tearing of the paper. I am seeing 3 holes with big gaps an tearing. Now my eye-ball-o-meter has not been calibrated in a while but those look like .223 holes. Now I could be wrong and you could be an Olympic caliber shooter in perfect conditions and your handloaded bullets lubed by the vaginas of unicorns. But ya, I am going to have to call bullshit on this video.

TR will never get my money JUST because they decided to sue over a petty bad mouthing of their rifles.

Nice looking rifle and all but show us what it really can shoot and not this fake BS. If you shot that good you need to be at Camp Perry shooting or at the Olympics. That group didn't happen @ 500yds with you shooting that fast. Sorry, didn't happen.

Why is someone still shooting after you started walking down range?

Because he is too dumb to ask them to stop shooting so he can walk down range.

Because they're all shooting TR rifles too and he knows he's safe.

No way in hell did you just shoot that group at that distance, that fast.

I'm willing to bet you shot that at 100 yards or less and ten walked the target back out to 500 ish yards.

Your shooting form is all out of whack, you are breaking your cheek weld, you aren't following through, you are hearing the rifle all around.

No way, you shot that group at 500, nope. No way in hell.

Yeah right with a half MOA system the spread is 2.5" and I'm going to agree this is total B.S. if he was that good this ah would have the creedmore cup mounted to the boot of his Toyota carolla.

Ok, I'm calling some serious bullshit on that one. I've got more than a few thousand rounds experience with M118LR and the 175SMK rounds and I can tell you, outside of sheer chance, it's not capable of that. It's loaded well, but it's nowhere near consistent enough for that. A 3" group is probably the best you could expect, a great competition shooter, maybe 2.5" maybe. Next time you want to fake an impressive 500 round group, don't do it from 100yds

What a fucking joke! What kind of dumbass would post such a shitty fake video? Should of "shot" a 2" group so it'd be believeable and impressive. I'm posting a video soon where I shot a 1" group from 3 miles, I suck at video editing like you so you have to watch me walk that far to "prove" it.

You are correct. It can be done. I have done it. If the bullet holes overlap. If you re-read the comment I made you will understand. You can clearly count 5 individual bullet holes. If you Mic the diameter of a quarter it is right about .955....and as you know .308 should be about a .308 diameter hole. So if you can explain to me how 5 .308 holes that dont touch can fit under a space that is .955 I will start to believe you shot that group..

Your comment was..."there is no way you could "cover" 5 .30 cal holes with a quarter....even if they were touching..". My reply was that you CAN cover 5 shots from a .308 with a quarter if you're a good enough marksman, but not at 500yds.

Can you do another video, now that I am sure its got 100,000 rounds down it.  If you could please video you walking down, stapling up a target, walking back, shooting, slapping the trigger, dancing gangham style, then walking back down to see the sub-moa group? Kthanxbye.

Im gonna have to call BS....5 shots in 15 seconds and you posted a .18 moa group. Im just saying, a 3in group would be impressive, but less than a quarter. yeaaaaa, I know scout snipers that cant touch that, and they aren't too shabby behind a rifle. I posted a 4in group at ~560-580yds and that was a fluke good group for me. But right on the X, at 500, firing that fast, never mind the trigger slapping and having to time to reacquire at that range...sorry...Id have to see it in person with a camera on the target and one on you...

Is that a 22lr or a .308? Because there is no way you could "cover" 5 .30 cal holes with a quarter....even if they were touching..which those are not. Hahaha!! 500yd group...LMAO. next time you try to fool the internet at least use the correct size hole punch on your target and make your shooting form match the distance!

Uh, yeah...you actually CAN cover 5 shots from a .308 with a quarter, if you're a good enough marksman. Shooters do it all the time so just because you can't do it, that doesn't mean it can't be done.

I have a couple of questions:

Are you the guy who back in 1999 claimed to have killed a terrorist at 1,200 or 1,300 yards with a rifle from this manufacturer after it had 50,000 rounds through it?

I think you said it was a personal rifle is that true? If so how were you able to get a personally owned rifle approved for this?

Did you also claim that you got 2,800 + FPS from a 20" barrel with factory 175 grain ammo?

Please tell us what unit you were in and some places you worked and times you were there. Obviously it isn't something you need to be secretive about because you post videos of yourself showing your face and bragging about your accomplishments so no need to lie about some special secret status or unit. I have friends and customers that have worked overseas in every branch of service and many private companies so I'm sure it would be easy to prove your amazing stories if you are for real.

Holy cats, can you jerk the trigger any harder? Can you stay in position at least until full recoil and recovery? Can you even see what you are shooting at with so much grabastic moving around? Jeez o Pete, who taught you how to shoot?
And lastly How the hell did you make that group at 500M with so much grabastic shooting? Where the hell is my BS flag!?!?!?!

Sic rifle bud! I purchased one not too long ago as well. Great product!

Thumper, what is your MOS? I was just wondering. I know there are some small differences, but its basically all there. I have seen M40A5's at MWTC the same way, but they were really beat up on the outside with laters of spraypaint on them.

Awesome video thank you for sharing it

shit thats pretty far lol

Nice work Eddie - we can always rely on you to show the potential of our precision rifles. We appreciate your custom and your service.

eddie you have got yourself one hell of a tac driver!

I was wondering what your experience was with the M24, that is an Army weapon, but I though of getting a .300 Win Mag since it can reach out further. As for the M40 type weapons, they can and are upgraded at certain depots unknowingly by some and as of July 2013, they will be phased out, the M110 will be coming in as replacements as there are 5 in the armory already. I have been in for 15 years & have seen all sorts of weapon upgrades. Money is spent from units for the PWS & individual shooters

Isn't the M40A5 suppose to have a McMillan A4 Stock??? The one in this Vid looks like a Manner A4 with the Custom Camo Paint. Either way, that is A Freaken Laser Blaster man!!! AWESOME SHOOTING AND HECK OF A RIFLE!!! LOVE IT!!!

This gun *-* 3

Thanks for the 5-minute video of you walking downrange, asshole. Also, good job shooting a target at 100 yards prior to this video taping, then shooting off into the woods for those 5 shots, then walking downrange to show us your 100-yard group that you shot probably 15 minutes prior. Ha ha ha!!!

That is not at all an M40A5. That is a McMillan A5 stock not an A4, the bottom metal is not a Badger M5, there is no PGW NV mount and I'm sure if I had it here to disassemble and inspect closely I would find many other failures to match USMC specs. It has a Remington 700 action and a Surefire brake, that's it. Not even close to an M40A5  and you don't have to be a rifle builder to instantly recognize that.

There is no way you shot that group. First of all your technique is terrible and you're obviously a beginner. You slap the hell out of the trigger, you can't stay in position, you shift around constantly and you clearly are firing as you're exhaling on some of the shots. Not all of them because your breathing is very inconsistent. The best F class shooters in the world shooting full blown 25 pound race guns with meticulously loaded ammunition tailored for their rifles can barely do that with unlimited time on massive pedestal rests.

You are a shill for that manufacturer and you don't have enough knowledge or experience to tell a believable lie.

You are lying and anyone with precision rifle experience can see that.
