He had a rifle for sale at a great price point. Being that he was a member with low msg count through the red flag. It was a deal if I didn’t act fast it would have been gone so I put the ol “I’ll take it”. Sent the seller a msg saying to FaceTime me he response was I do have FT but here’s my # call me. So I called him and talked for about 15 minutes. I asked the usual questions then asked for a couple of pictures of him holding the rifle. His response was priceless “you will see an old dude in a ugly orange shirt” and that’s what I got. The conversation put me at ease so I send the money. Through text messages we are still communicating and I send him my FFL’s address (so I thought) at 2300 I get a text “Jay I think you messed up the address” my response was yes I did thanks for saving both our butts. Next day I get tracking number and I send him the money for the shipping cost. Monday comes mail tries to deliver the rifle to my FFL but the are closed “thanks COVID”. the seller calls me to inform me that the rifle was not delivered. We had another 20 minutes conversation about everything. Tuesday morning at 1015 I go to my FFL to see if my rifle is there and sure enough it is.
I unzip the case and the rifle is just as described. Very good seller. Followed through with me throughout the sale and delivery of the rifle. I would buy again from me.
