Done that many times. Switch to slicks at the track. Once BFG and Nitto drag radials were a thing it wasn’t necessary.
I lost a week's pay to one of those damned things back in the early 70's.View attachment 8044612
And embarrass the driver of 396 Chevelle so bad he wouldn't pull over to talk about it.
One has to wonder if something kinky occurred that involved doughnuts. Never mind, some things should not be imagined, let alone discussed.OOPS
Well over 20 years ago...When my wife's adopted stray yellow tabby cat decided the plants were her litter boxes I would stick her nose in her messes, then toss her into the shower, stand on the toilet, and use the showerhead to soak her down. That cat had some lungs on her. Her behavior changed remarkably after the second shower. After that, if she did something, like strip the wallpaper, all you had to do is toss her in the shower and she would scream bloody murder without turning the water on.I used to have a cat that would let me hold him on my shoulder in the shower and wash him. This cat, baby kitty, likes water. She likes to sit in the bath tub with a very slow trickle on and wash herself. She often sits on the edge of the tub when I shower.
This morning she came on in. I picked her up and into the showering water we went. She loved it. I soaped her up and then rinsed her. Towel dried and a little blow dryer action and she was good with it all

Baby K was a stray as well. Her mom and siblings were wild and untouchable but Baby K came right up to some customers of mine and lived inside the body shop as if she were hand raised.Looks a lot like our feral adoptee Meow Meow…
