Last Saturday I got a knock at the door and no it wasn't the feds this time... it was fed ex with my new USO! : )

I have to tell you it's the nicest finished USO I've ever seen! It's MUCH lighter than it looks, and definitely lighter than the last 2007 SN3 17x than I had. I'm not sure where they took the weight out but it feels perfect.

The big 58MM objective looks HUGE though feels as light and nimble as my NFs and S&B, also there it is noticeably brighter than my other scopes. It originally didn't fit on my .260 with low seekins rings (.95) and the badger ordinance base. After digging through my old parts I found a USO scope base that was considerably thicker than the BO, luckily for me the USO mount gave me about 1mm clearance under the bell.

Also note the anodized finish is better than any other USO I've seen, it seems they are constantly improving their product, a little bit at a time. I'm a fan.

Here are the specs:
3.2-17x
ERGO 58mm Low Profile objective
EREK 1/10 MIL Elevation turret
U.S. #1 M40 Style 1/10 MIL Windage turret
35mm tube
Matte Black Type III Hard Anodizing
Mil-Scale GAP reticle
11 Pos Rheostat (Red)

Instead of Nitrogen we filled it with Helium!

I was wondering why my voice was weird after mounting behind the rifle for a while......

It's brighter (or so it seems) than my NFs and my S&B. The S&B glass is hard to beat in the clarity department, but this USO is def clearer than any nightforce I've owned and possibly even older USOs I've had.

The glass quality is great in the USO but I think it's brighter due to the large objective.

That's a good question... I'm not sure yet since I this is my first ergo (objective focus) scope and I have almost no time on it.

So far I like the objective focus better than the T-pal-- tho no real reason other than my ergo (objective focus) uso seems to need less adjustment than my Tpal.
