    lot, this is my favorite.
    AQUALUNG
    What is the best?

Great question with an impossible answer. There are sooo many that qualify as candidates. I ask this question to myself on a regular basis because at church we will often close out the service with an iconic guitar solo as the congregation is dismissed. My criteria is that everyone instantly recognizes the song from just the solo, and that it makes them smile, whoop and holler when they hear it. A lot of times, the “best” solos aren’t really that technically difficult to play (Comfortably Numb, for example), they were just really well designed and executed. When you’re playing it and they start singing along with it, you’re over the target of a “greatest” solo.
That said, Comfortably Numb is at least tied with anyone else for top dog! People actually weep when Gilmour plays it.

No, there is an answer. I am a huge Brian Setzer fan, saw the Stray Cats very early on in a very small venue. But there is one that had skill and technique above all others. If this first clip with him yawning and picking his nose, the jumping cold into this, perhaps the unplugged video will do it for you. Unplugged with a 12 string, just amazing.

But Setzer is who got me to pickup the guitar, him and PhilX old guitar videos

I was laying in a hospital bed wondering if the left side would ever work again and came across this guy, figured this might make my left hand work again, and myself with a nice drip it fit my mood.

No sir. “Best” is your opinion. I love the man, and his playing, even own one of his Signature Model guitars. But “Best” is always an opinion, unless there are metrics to go by (group size, for instance).

Ok, wait - in the post I was replying to you said “in this first video”, which was Brian. But it appears you meant Stevie, which was the second video. I will never argue against Stevie. As I already said, he’s tied for my favorite of all time with GL. I’ve seen the 12 string performance a hundred times. Always amazes.
