I recently completed a project for a Highway Patrol that specified rifles issued with packable softcases. One of the senior snipers on that team did a ton of homework and research (thanks Jamin) to find the best product for their typical mission profile and deployment style. All their needs pointed to something in the Eberlestock product line. In particular the Gunslinger II in MultiCam was the primary candidate.

While I could have gone straight to Eberlestock with my order request, I chose to contact Ceylon Blackwell of DeltaOutdoorsman. DeltaOutdoorsman is a dealer for Eberlestock and select other manufacturers.

I must say that I felt totally catered to from that moment on. Ceylon was up to speed on my project and had thoughtful suggestions and some good alternates. He was very knowledgeable about the product, its use, its manufacture and realistic delivery information. At no time was Ceylon pushy or manipulative.

After final decisions were made and the P.O. sent, I received a detailed confirmation of my order. The order arrived on time and in perfect condition. Shortly after that, I was contacted by Ceylon. He simply wanted to follow up and make sure that everything was correct and to my expectations.

This was a few months ago and I am just now making the time to acknowledge his efforts and customer service. That project along with several other simultaneous jobs pretty much consumed me and my schedule. So I apologize for not being more timely in posting this.

The Eberlestock product is a superb piece of gear and the customer service from Ceylon was outstanding. I will not hesitate to sub other gear orders through him and can highly recommend this route to others for any of the product lines that he carries. Thank you Ceylon for helping me make a happy customer.

Ceylon’s company is DeltaOutdoorsman / CBB Enterprises and he can be contacted via email at: [email protected]. He has my business on any future jobs that need this type of product.

Re: Eberlestock and Ceylon Blackwell

I'd like to second the above. Ceylon has helped me with several gear searches and purchases over the past several months and has been absolutely fabulous to work with. He's provided great advice, excellent service and fair prices every time. He's certainly become my go to guy for these sorts of things and will remain so in the future

Re: Eberlestock and Ceylon Blackwell

I would also like to say that Ceylon has earned my business as well. He has always answered my questions and his shipments have been on time, everytime. He is my prefered vendor.

Re: Eberlestock and Ceylon Blackwell

Got my Eberlestock from Ceylon and I have to agree with everything said above. Great company with a fantastic person to work with !

Re: Eberlestock and Ceylon Blackwell

It's nice to see a sincere post from such respected folks! I had nothing but positive experience with Ceylon. So many times I get 'quoted' times, dates, and never even get calls back from retailers.

Good on ya Ceylon.

Re: Eberlestock and Ceylon Blackwell

Dang, all this time I felt special for the way I was treated dealing with Ceylon. Now, I find out he treats everybody this way.

He's great to deal with, no doubt.

Re: Eberlestock and Ceylon Blackwell

Ceylon is great to deal with. Everything Terry said about how his order went is how I felt I was treated and I only bought 1 Gunslinger II.
Now, on another note, I believe that is the baddest picture I have ever seen!!!!!!

Re: Eberlestock and Ceylon Blackwell

I had my Gunslinger 2 out at the range today, and the people i was shooting next to kept asking me where i got the pack. Even the range master was gawking at it, stating she wanted one for her son. It's really an awesome product, and Ceylon was really helpful in getting me the pack i needed very quickly.

Re: Eberlestock and Ceylon Blackwell

Have bought a couple of bags from Ceylon, and have nothing but good things to say. He communicates well, and seems to genuinely care about the business and his customers.

Re: Eberlestock and Ceylon Blackwell

A Big +1.

Ordered a Terminator from Ceylon and it was suppose to come with a 2L pouch.... it was dropped shipped from Eberlestock and it was missing the pouch. Contacted Ceylon and he sent 2 pouches to me for my troubles.

Re: Eberlestock and Ceylon Blackwell

One more for the pile. i ordered an eberlestok A4 scabbord with shoulder straps from Ceylon back in November. Thinking it was goign to be the perfect light weight option for a heavy rig for hunting and range work. I ran it a few time and my rig just didnt fit it well at all. I contacted ceylon several months later, new job, new kid...life yada yada you all know how it goes and I simple asked hey you think you can help me out on this its like new i would love to exchange for the eberlestock Drag bag i think it will work better. So im thinking he is either goign to tell me i wish i could but its been like 3 months or i can give you $50 credit so i can sell it used...instead he said send it back and ill order a new drag bag for you which he did and had out to me super promptly. Absolutely first class service.
