Hanging around this forum is bad for my wallet.

Just finished doing some updates to my older Remington PSS .308.

- SS 10x42M
- B&C A3
- CDI Bottom Metal
- Timmey trigger (2.5lbs)
- KPG Bolt Lift
- Burris Xtreme rings
- XLR Industries cheek piece

Receiver, and bottom metal bedded. Now... time to stop tinkering in the garage workshop and start shooting again.

lower rings and push that scope forward a little..

Re: Dad's Updated Toy

quick question? On the title it reads"Dad's updated toy", then under it is"Just finished doing some updates to my older Remington PSS .308". So my question is, who's gun is it?

Re: Dad's Updated Toy

Yep... It was easy to install. A number of other members did the tough work of trial and error for me regarding mounting options. I just followed some of the their suggestions. I really like the Karstens cheek piece, but for $25 I thought I would give it a try (low $$$ loss if it didn't work).

Re: Dad's Updated Toy

So... After reviewing my set up a little more (with the insight of fellows of the Hide) I've made two tweaks: 1) went out and replaced the medium rings with low rings, & 2) pushed the scope and rings out. Much more comfortable setup. Thanks _shay_ and JCH.
