Walk closer...And switch rifles to save some money for something nice. I don't normally get all but hurt over long-range hunting, but really $600 is all you can afford to throw on a rifle chambered in $5 bills?

Evidently, they're not held in high regard here...
I could be wrong but Im not sure there is a scope in the 600 ramge that would be good for hunting that would go 100-1000. There are some fixed power scopes, but they would not work well at 100, most variable scopes in that range would probably run out of elevation.
