.22 picatinny rail for CZ

Re: .22 picatinny rail for CZ

I bought a DIP and it worked just fine. I didnt like the fact that it didn't screw into the action though. It all depends if you want to tap and drill your action or not...

Mill the dove tail mount off the top of action. Install custom machined nf 20 moa base. Post pic and then spend the next month answering pm s about how much it would cost to do that

Re: .22 picatinny rail for CZ

Maybe a little late, but I've just upgraded my DIP CZ 20moa rail with a Murphy Precision base.

I would regard the Murphy Precision base as a fullsize centerfire base made for the CZ (or Savage) rimfire rifles, very sturdy, well made and locks onto the dovetail like the DIP base.

I went with a 40moa base and with a SWFA SS 3-9 I still achieve a 50m zero (1.5mil to spare) and have 22.5mil (~81moa) of usable elevation plus 5mils from the mildots. Just FYI using CCI standard vel a 300m come up is 16.5mils which to date is as far as I've had a chance to try.

I highly recommend the Murphy base.

What are they good for? They only work with burris scope rings and they're made of PLASTIC. Personally I really don't want any PLASTIC mounting my scope to my rifle.

Re: .22 picatinny rail for CZ

I use the EGW 11mm to Picatinny rail, which clamps to the 11mm rail like all other 11mm accessories. The Big advantage over DiP adapter is I can remove the EGW Picatinny rail without removing the scope first. Try that with a DiP, O, you can't do that.
