i just picked up a remington 1911 r1 in olive drab/black over the weekend, being that it is my first 1911 i didnt want to break the bank on a high end gun, i really like the fit and feel of the gun, i did some research on the 1911's and the remington had some excellent reviews for a beginner gun other than the trigger creep that it has out of the box, which i dont think is to bad but im not a expert handgun shooter.
the grips are nice, machining looks excellent, the gun is super tight and will need a good couple hundred rounds to break it in, the sights are really nice for factory sights( im compairing sights to glocks, xd's,ect),
anybody else have one? what do you have to say about it?
