So here is the first rifle I've ever built. I've done lots of uppers and parts switching, but never took a pile of parts and made a rifle before this. It's a little too fun! This is the first of a 2-part build. I'm waiting for a .264 barrel from Satern to show up before I can finish the second upper for this lower though.

Specs:

WOA 20" SDM barrel in 1:8"
Adam's Arms rifle length piston kit
JP LPK
CMC Trigger
Mega Monolithic Upper
Mega Billet Lower (ambi)
BAD lever
PRS stock
Ergo grip
Harris Bi-Pod
ADM Bipod mount
Miculek Brake

Optic
Mk 4 3.5-10
Larue PSR 20

Also run a SS 5-20 from the group buy, but she stayed home for this trip.

USACS,

I went with the piston for a couple reasons. First is as a test. I want to get it dialed in and comfortable. Then switch to DI and see for myself if there really is an accuracy difference. Second is the I like pistons. Last is that I plan on getting a suppressor and really like pistons for that purpose.

Very nice.
I really like those fluted mono-uppers ~ I need to try one on a build.
I built almost the same thing except for a few other minor changes.
The barrel is a WOA SDM 20 in 1/7 in a railed Mega Mono upper/lower.

Looks good. I'm working on a 18" SPR now. Have a Noveske lower, SSA trigger and PRS stock with MIAD grip. Going to order the Larue Stealth upper soon.

Right I get that...what upper, handguard, block, brake do you plan on running on the lbc barrel..only reason I ask is to suggest a heavy walled upper. I have the same barrel and noticed flex and inconsistent accuracy with a standard a3 upper. I have since changed to an ops-4 upper and I'm very pleased with it.

No targets yet. Was playing on steel out to about 700 the other day. Thing is damn nice. Just got my ammo from southwest and plan on getting some targets when I get back from TX.

Jeff,

Like I said, it will use the same upper. They will be complete twins except the barrel and scope.
