I have one on order and was told 8 to 12 weeks delivery time. Leupold rep said there was a supply issue. I got this info around february 27th and i had placed the order around january.

Dang. I have a scope coming in in a few weeks for my .338 lapua. No laser cartridge for the .338, and I don't trust the lasers that go in the bore/muzzle and wanted to try out the leupold.

Dang. I have a scope coming in in a few weeks for my .338 lapua. No laser cartridge for the .338, and I don't trust the lasers that go in the bore/muzzle and wanted to try out the leupold.

You want a tip that doesn't require a bore scope? Place the rifle on bags at the 100 yard line. Remove the bolt on a bolt gun. Or break the AR down shotgun style. look through the bore and place it on target, look through scope and match the sight picture with W/E. Gets you on target without spending extra money on more gear to carry around.

Remember if you do get the Leupold AND have a canted base that you will need to accommodate for that when you zero.

Yeah, I have thought about this since I just got access to our caliche pit so I can start at 25 or 50 if needed. Just fixing to buy few bolt action rifles and it would be nice if one purchase could take care of all of them.
