Ok, I have two old plastic stocks for Remington and one for an old savage. Id like to cut em both and put together ONE new custom stock for the Savage......if possible.

Has someone done anything like that, made a stock that way and painted nicely? Or is it a big no-no?

I dout you will be able to heat weld them togethe and make them stick for very long. it will be very brittle and will break easily.

why are you wanting to do that anyway

Re: Strange question,,,,,,I know

I've done a bit of plastic-welding and will tell you this:

There are more different types/kinds of plastic than you can imagine. Either fusing or bonding of each stock will be quite a task. Then, you have to weigh that with the durability of the joint. This is not the same as gluing two different woods together.

What I would suggest though, is if you really want to go-it-solo, then make a mold of the benefits of each, form the molds together, and cast yourself a new stock. But then, that opens up a whole new tangent of requirements and necessities that are quite probably, daunting.
