I was looking through photos a while back and saw a photo of an SBR AR with a modified UBR stock, it looked like they cut the diagonal 45 degree angle piece and just left it the butt piece on. looked somewhat like an mp5 stock, hope i didnt confuse the Cr@p out of anyone with that description haha. i thought it was pretty interesting, anyone else see this? i cant find pictures anywhere anymore.

From the sound of it thats exactly what they did, or shall I say what you saw in the picture.

All you have to do is remove two screws on each side.

i know about the storage covers but thats definitely not it. they basically cut off the area where the screws bolt on, its an odd mod but looked interesting on an SBR. reminds me of the AAC honeybadger. heres a photo i edited on paint with what i'm talking about. i should've just done that from the get go haha.

Not sure why someone would want to do that, since it would cut down on the durability of the otherwise indestructible stock. but i guess people like different things
im guessing they just took a dremel to the stock then rounded the edges up after

it really doesnt look bad, but i wonder how it'll hold recoil after that much of a mod.

no it was definitely a UBR stock that someone modified. i cant seem to find that picture anymore though
