Just got my new Glock 35, gen 4...now I'm in th market for night sights...I'm seeing two sizes offered-6.5 and 6.9mm; in the factory glock night sights (which I prefer-I have them on my duty weapon)...which one should fit my weapon?
I have the factory Glock night sights, Trijicon, on my Glock. They came with the gun when I bought it.
I bought my wife some "metropolight" night sights for her M&P over christmas.
I took both into the dark bathroom after they arrived. The metropolight was significantly brighter, even through the plastic packaging. Now that they're out of the box, there's no comparison. Her gun's a damn flashlight compared to my factory glock sights.
Just FWIW.

I found this interesting when selecting mine.
Wow-they really are much brighter! I was reading the comments below though; and someone posted that their meprolights have burnt out after 3 years, and they cannot get the company to honor the warranty...is this just a fluke or does anyone here have any of the same expeirences? If this is just a one in a million, I'll definitely be considering merprolight!
I've used them all. Meprolights are the brightest. The Glock Factories are Meprolights. Glock makes the metal sight casings for the front and rear sights (they're tennifer treated), and Meprolite the tritium vials. The Glock factory front dot is smaller than the after market Meprolights.
The XS night sights are my favourite though. I like to dot the I. For me it's faster.
XS Big dot in front, filed-out OEM Glock nightsight in the back. Not ideal for 25 yard bullseye shooting, but really, really fast at "typical" targets at typical ranges.
My duty gun, a Glock 21SF, has Ameriglo Operators on it. I have the green front and yellow rears. Absolutely love them. As was said earlier, the taller ones are for the 45acp and 10mm guns.
