I noticed that the muzzle break on my 10 FPC-K is slightly canted (maybe 10 degrees). I get good groups with it, so maybe I shouldn't worry about it?

Any suggestions? I'm going to give savage a call tomorrow and see what they think.

My FCP-K has a slightly canted brake. Not really a problem. And all you need to do is grab a wrench and straighten it. May want to try a new washer.

I don't care enough to mess with it.

I'm no expert but...... Wouldn't this effect recoil management? I know that some people cant their muzzle breaks to compensate for recoil moving the sights to one direction or another.

While the small amount of can't doesn't seem to bother you rifles performance. The more important issue is whether or not you can be satisfied with the rifle, if it is going to eat at you all the time, I think Savage should correct the problem. The money you spent was all solid and no cants in it. If you had shortchanged savage , how well would that have went over?
