2 Questions-
For a sporter weight savage, how long would you go in between shots? Any warm-up shots?

If the maximum range was to be 200-250 yards is the OCW process as important or go with the bullet that provides a tiny group.

A barrel that is not hot to the touch will work....warmish is okay, but not hot....depends on your testing weather.

I like testing in the early morning, or late evening, in the shade....which give me longer strings and shorter waits.

Not sure why you think the OCW process wouldn't give you the tiny groups....?!?
