Does Remington MARS mount require 8-40 thread?

I called Remington today and after shuffling me around the phone system, they said they'd get back to me with an answer.

I thought you fellas would probably know, so I wanted to ask here:

Does the Remington MARS mount require me to drill and tap my receiver from the existing 6-48 thread to the 8-40 thread in order to attach it or does it come with standard 6-48 thread screws?

No, they provide some small sleeves that allow you to mount it using either size screws. Both size screws are also provided.
