Rifle Scopes Need Help on Redfield 12x Target Scope

Hi guys

My dad has an old Redfield 12x Target / varmint scope. Anyone know what model it is or anything about it?? Not sure if it is a serial # or not, but a # on the side of it is U01322

Any help would be great.

I can't see it all but I think it's a Redfield 3200 scope. They came in a fitted case(plastic & padded). I have one on a Remington mod.,37, .22RF. Good scopes. They were the next evolution in barrel mounted scopes, being internally adjustable.
They also made another called the mod., 6400. I believe that was the last of it's kind.

The # is a S/N.

Thanks Mike! I appreciate the info. I'll do some research as to see if the adj is 1/4 moa or 1/8 moa. I believe its 1/4

What Mike said about it being a 3200. IIRC they could be had in either 1/8 or 1/4moa.

Don't have an extra set of rings laying around do you.lol I have a near new in box 12X but no durn rings!!!

That is so cool!
Was at my local gunshop the other day, they had cleaned out the back room and had two nib redfields, 3-9's, I believe. Don't know the year of manufacture but they were pretty old looking boxes.

If you frequent the smallbore benchrest forums, it's possible you can get at least a copy of one. They were popular scopes in that sport.

I have a manual but no way to copy it. Tell me what you want to know and perhaps I can take a pic of the page and post it or send to you and you can copy it. I don't have a printer currently. There is really only 2 pages on the 3200 and most deals with how to mount.

I actualy just sent it out to Iron Sight inc. to refurbish, clean, adjust, replace cross hairs with heavier wire and target dot. about 8 months they said! ouch.... But it will be better then new when its back. $115.00 including return shipping for all! I thought that was awesome.
