Rifle Scopes Argh! Need help on optic choice for Mk12 SPR

I just picked up an awesome Mk12 that my buddy built and I need to put another scope on it. I have my other NF 5.5-22x56 on it but it's just way too big. I am torn between a 3.5-15x50 and a 2.5-10x32 NF. This rifle is my back up gun to my .308 bolt gun so I only need it to get out to 600yds, maybe 800 for fun occasionally. It will be used for close range shooting as well, depending on what situations arise during a match. If you shot or are familiar with some of the back up gun stages at Mammoth, you'll have an idea of what I am going to use this rifle for.

I am wondering if I would be happy with the light weight and size of the 10x scope or will I be wanting more magnification??

Please elaborate...According to Mk12.net, the Navy uses the NF 2.5-10x24 on their Mod1's.

And since I'm an MOA guy, leupy's don't work for me.

I've had a 2.5-10 IOR FFP, 3-9 super sniper FFP and 3-9 leupie VXR and I've used a few Luepie m3 and NF 2.5-10s.

Not factoring in cost I like the NF and IOR the best. Factor in cost and I like the SS.

I try to like Leupold but whenever I get one I either break it or find it has flaws that I can't seem to get around.

Authenticity isn't what I'm going for...but the 10x NF is definitely what I'm going to buy... Hopefully a good used one comes up in the for sale thread

I have a Mk12 Mod0 build in progress.

I didn't think the "correct" Leupold (MR/T 2.5-8x36 or LR/T 3.5x10-40) were worth the money (since there are several scopes I would rather get for the money) nor did I actually want to spend that amount of money, so I ended up getting a VX-R Patrol 3-9x40. Got one at a great price on the group buy here.

What they said, NF Compacts with NVG settings are the shiznit.
You see two extra illumination settings the opposite direction of off.
I'm lucky to have snagged one from High caliber over a year ago. Should have snagged two..:T

The mod1 on top is getting the 2.5-8-36 Leupold just waiting. In my opinion the 3-12 SB is perfect not to big and can get you out there.
