Got my Tango last Tuesday. There is not much more I can say about a Tacops that hasn't already been said. Fit and finish is unbelievable and attention to detail is second to none. Everybody has said that and I totally agree.
Much has been talked about the wait and I agree it is brutal but so so worth it. To those of you waiting just bide your time. I know its not easy! I had a lot of friends giving me crap about the wait and my wife included but I just bit my tongue and tried not to think about it. Mike would call me up every once in awhile and ensure me that it was moving along. I know for sure that it got set back because of him not being happy with wait times on bottom metal. So what did he do? Built his own. That stuff takes time and he took the time to do it because he knew it would be better in the long run. We all know he has 650 police agencies plus the unsaid number of (unknown people) using it. I was a firm believer that they come first so I just tried to accept that it was coming when it was coming. Mike R. I hope like heck I didn't bother you to much!!
I started my long range shooting about 4 years ago and fast learned that nickel and diming my way to what I wanted was going to cost me much more than just going for what I wanted in the long run. I purchased a $250 H&R .308 and put a $200 burris on it. 5 pound trigger pull and break the barrel everytime you shoot. I had a lot of fun learning and shooting on that gun. About the best I could do was 1" groups. Needless to say I always had an excuse as to why I couldn't shoot it better than that. Than my Tacops showed up. Needless to say I got some work to do. I've spoke with Mike R. a couple of times since its arrival and he has been more than helpfull trying to help me get better. Either way don’t bust my balls (There a little sore! Inside Joke) about my groups. I also threw one in to show my suppressor shift. I dialed my scope in using the suppressor because that his how I plan on shooting it the most. I than pulled it off to show the shift. If I could shoot worth a darn you could see the shift better but I think you get the idea. My dots are 1" dots.
Cant Thank you enough Mike. Man what a gun!!!
First 5 shots out of the gun. To bad it was all down hill from there.
One more group with the suppressor.
Suppressor Shift Like .3 or .4 mils to the right. Remeber I did it backwards. Zeroed with can and removed it to show shift.
