I hate hate hate when guys take guns to the show but aren't selling it! What is the point of bringing it if you don't have any intent to sell the gun? Just doesn't make any sense to me why someone would want to lug around a gun to basically just attract attention and show off... Who knows, maybe I am missing.something?

yes, got some great deals on bison and elk jeerky plus really good price on beany babies too.
I forgot to mention he was heading to a vendor friend of his and his tables, having already scoped up that part of the show, i didn't go back there.
The .50 DTA had a huge break and a very deeply fluted barrel plus a huge USO scope. The whole thing could have been about 4 1/2 feet in length.

It's called "Showing Off". Very common among pre-adolescents and mal-adjusted teenagers, and adults with less than normal mental capacity and growth.

I had an acquaintense that would come to the gun show with use with a grease gun slung over his shoulder with no intent to sell. Just to show off his weapon. Guess that is how he got his ego stroked.

some guys will pick up a new gun that's rare/hard to get and walk around to see if someone tosses them a big offer and they'll unload it... and...well, yeah, some do want to just show off...nothing wrong with that, at all. just brings out the jealous people that can't handle others being more fortunate than them
