This is all too common and it is infuriating. "Charities" that are only charitable to themselves should be burned to the ground. Be careful who you give money to folks.

I get requests every week from someone with an unknown charities and they generally get pretty pissed when I say no to them...
This is the number one reason why we don't allow "charities" and the like to use this forum.

It's just too bad that no one in this country has the cajones to force these people to change their errant ways.

Locally, two older guys were arrested on Saturday for collecting for the Shriners in front of one of the Wal-Marts here. They had the hats, and the buckets. Come to find out, they weren't Shriners OR Masons.
