Want to buy a Forster Co-Ax press and I can't find anyone that has them in stock. Everywhere I checked they are back ordered.

Anyone have a lead on where I might find one at a fair price, IN STOCK.

Perhaps someone here has one they are willing to part with.

Thanks

Re: Forster Co-Ax press

I was in your shoes, everyone was out of stock and backordered. As soon as they came in, they'd sell out within a day. Midway got some and I snatched it up quick....ofcourse I was checking all the major sites a couple times a day. Glad you found one.

Re: Forster Co-Ax press FOUND ONE

I've had one on backorder through Forster since March 3rd (won a 50% off certificate). Got tired of waiting and got one through Midaway last week. Finished setting it up Sun and did some FL sizing, priming, and bullet seating last night. VERY impressed with the press! Especially since the FL sizing was actually machine gun fired .308 brass through a small base sizing die. Compared to other single stage presses I've used the sizing operation was nearly effortless.

Re: Forster Co-Ax press FOUND ONE

I posted this a few months ago, but the Cabela's here in Boise has a Forster Co Ax that has been sitting on their shelves for the last 6 months. One gentleman had contacted me to get the info on it and have it sent to his local Cabelas, but he was able to get another one. Long story short, the thing was still sitting there last Wednesday! They even have it at a decent price, I believe it is 259.99.

Re: Forster Co-Ax press FOUND ONE

I just went through the same thing trying to find one.it showed up tonight and I'm loving it. Decapped 400+ rounds, set up dies, loaded 30 and primed 100. It seems like a wonderful tool so far.

Can you tell us what you specifically prefer about it over other single stage presses? All this talk has me interested now

Re: Forster Co-Ax press FOUND ONE

I like how smooth it is, the ergonomics of the action fit me better with the high/pull down handle. The fact that there are only 2 shell plates and I only need the one for all of my loads. The primer catch tube is nice, and changing dies out take all of 3 seconds to slip the old one out and a new one in. You don't have to worry about locating the shell perfectly because the spring loaded plates do that for you. And, so far...it has produced very consistent brass in sizing and seating depth.

But, all I can compare it to is an old RCBS JR and a Redding T7, so take away what you want...

I got the short handle for mine and it fixes part of that throw length.
