I am pleased to announce that Nightforce Optics is sponsoring the US F-Class Open Rifle Team for the 2013 World Championships that will be held in August of 2013 in Raton, NM.

Nightforce has been a constant "companion" for many shooters on our team, with the majority of our team members using Nightforce scopes. They are known for highly dependable and high quality optics and are the first choice for almost any shooter in the world that requires crystal clear optics.

THANK YOU, NIGHTFORCE!

Re: Nightforce sponsors US F-Open Team

Good to see sponsorship, but as Killshot said, will this prevent US team members from using other scopes, like say March, for the comp?

Without 'dissin' Nightforce (but it's going to sound that way) other scopes makes are probably 'better' for open F-class, so this is a two edged sword.

Re: Nightforce sponsors US F-Open Team

Nightforce makes very, very good scopes. At this (upper) end of the market, whether another make or model is 'better' for a given use starts becoming more subject to personal preference/opinion than anything else. Other brands may have different features that may or may not be desirable... but its very hard to argue with the proven track record of Nightforce in long range rifle competition, whether it be F/TR, F-Open, or 600-1000yd BR. They are *still* the dominant brand you see on the firing line, and will probably remain so for the forseeable future.

I don't know the details of the USA F/Open teams agreement with NF, but if its anything like the F/TR team agreement... it primarily involves use during 'team' events representing the USA. What individual competitors use at local events or when not shooting as part of the US team is their own preragotive.
