I had the same thing happen to my S&W 15-22, it blew the extractor and everything right out of the bolt. I was at the out door range and I found all the parts, put it back together and continued to put rounds down it. Just clean it and keep going.

I hope my 10/22 doesnt decide it hates me too. That's crazy, I wonder how that happens? You think it just got bent up during feeding and still chambered with a crimp or something around the rim? Also, did it cause any damage to the gun?
