if i wasn't before i dame sure will be now, this is number 3 in the past month or so lol, i squeaked her in out of a little block of trees where i have in the past tracked their den,
she came out and just laid down and after a few more attempts i decided to stalk her in closer. from around 130 yds i closed the range to 80 without her even flinching, constantly monitoring the wind and ensureing i was down range it was time to set up..
i am not a huge fan of the headshot as i prefer the heart and lung on fox but will take it happily if its the best shot available and this time it was all i had, she was laid down comfy with her legs tucked in and had more than likely just eaten ( hense why she wasnt coming in to the call)
tuneing up the laser and focused the scope with the cross hairs smack in the middle of the bright glowing jewels..it was time to send her to foxy heaven.
a huge bang and a resounding crack and it was lights out, the .22 struck at around 230ftlb and was about .2mil high and .3 mil to the right (slight breeze). she was dead as soon as it hit .
