Anyone have a Manners Folding Stock?

Re: Anyone have a Manners Folding Stock?

Are you just checking to see if there are any being shipped out form Manners or is there something specific you are interested in knowing? I've handled them at the shop several times so I may have an answer or I'm sure Tom will chime in before too long.

Re: Anyone have a Manners Folding Stock?

I wanted to see if (a) they were shipping, and (b) what the owners thought of them. I'd like to place an order but before I saw the 6 Crusader of KYS 338's I'd only seen the GA 223 and some that Manners had for shot show. KYS, what do you think about yours, got any other pics?? Thanks

Re: Anyone have a Manners Folding Stock?

I enjoy mine quite a bit. I think the thing the folder lends itself to the most is the added advantage in packability. Guns that I could use to not pack in a TAC OPS style drag bag (that GAP offers) now fit in them easily.

The added material in the palm swell that accommodates the hinge is great for guys with big hands or if you're like me I just enjoy a really oversized grip area, helps me get that good 90 degree angle on the trigger.

They are shipping, but slowly as they are all worked on by hand when it comes to fitting the hinge and release mechanism for the folding portion.

I love the stock design, the new TF1 is probably my favorite stock that Manners has released. I own the 223 Rifle that GAP built for SHOT Show.

Nice!!! Thanks for the info, probably going to order one here soon but I'm trying to line up a BAT Tac Action and I guess I'm going to have to wait and see about availability on those before I call Tom. If that doesn't work out or is going to be a while I might try a Badger action instead. Thanks again for the info.
