I know it probably been asked before but I am having a problem choosing a stock. My choices are Whiskey 3 and a manners T2A. I plan on adding a mag system so they are pretty much the same price or actually the Whiskey is cheaper than the manners. Is there a difference in these 2 other than 1 is composite and one is metal? I know the T2a is 3.9 pounds and the a little over 4 pounds for the W3. This is my final big mod for my 5R other than a trigger and maybe some blueprinting

I don't know about the Whiskey but the manners is an excellent stock. they will go the extra mile to get the right stock for you and ensure that it fits you and you needs.
for example, when i was debating on which stock to get Thomas sent me 2 different stocks to compare/feel out (T5 and T2) and all i paid was to ship them back. from this i was able to get the proper LOP and determine that i wanted the action set back 0.2" for proper trigger reach.
with the manners you can get the mini-chassis MCS-DBM which gives you an aluminum bedding block, badger bottom metal and a aics mag for $360. this will save you some money on paying a smith to bed you action.
the customer service and manners was exceptional through my research and purchase, i recommend calling an talking to Tom about and questions you may have and they will get you fixed up.

I am a lefty also. Manners has the t5 if you like that style. I went with the T2 it just fit me better.

The W3 is not without its charms, but the grip is way too big for my hand, and I have pretty big hands. Make sure you like it.

Tango...fwiw I did the same research...I have a manners mcs-t ordered..LEFTY. They told me 16 weeks...only 13 weeks to go..
