Have you called AAC and asked to speak to a tech? Im fairly sure you would be fine but the Cyclone might be one of those rated for 308 and smaller, not allowing a magnum or WSM to be fired thru it.
The Cyclone is not rated for anything other than .308. Using that silencer on a 7mm WSM, of any barrel length, is a potential hazard to the shooter and any bystanders. AAC does not recommend that the Cyclone be used for any magnum calibers. Thanks for the question and let me know if I can help you out with anything else.

I looked at all possible calibers my 308 can would be used on before i bought one. I went with an SAS thread on. Rated for 300wm ansd 7rm. The short mags fall in there as well. Was cheaper back the too....
Not just rated for, the 30P-1 & 30BA work awesome on .300 WM/WSM and 7mm RM/WSM. We will warranty these cans for .300 RUM but it won't suppress the RUM as well.
We haven't tried the 300 NM. My general rule is if there's more than about 80-82 grains of powder, go with the 338P-1. If it's about 80gr or less (ie, heavy .300WM loads), the .30 cal size is fine.
I know its not one of the higher end cans, but my Phantom .308 works very well at hushing my 300WSM, .308, ,223 and as soon as I get home I'll be trying my 7SAUM through it.
