Suppressors Muzzle breaks for Surefire 556-RC and 762-RC

Re: Muzzle breaks for Surefire 556-RC and 762-RC

There will be a brake option for these but it will be a little bit. We are currently working to fill the SOCOM contract and then after that is done then they will be released for civilian sales as well as the other adapter options.

The SOCOM suppressors have a new indexing system where there is no longer a indexing pin in the back section. The back section now has a ramp in the very back and the adapter has a small tab built into it. By moving the indexing system to a very low carbon area we have eliminated the issue of the suppressor getting tough to get on/off due to the carbon built up around the index pin.

We are going to be releasing new adapters soon in the most popular threads and work our way to different threads as we built up stock.

You can use a SOCOM suppressor on a current adapter but you will not have the indexing system since the SOCOM series does not have the indexing pin. You cannot put a current suppressor on a SOCOM adapter. The indexing pin in the back section will not allow the suppressor to seat all the way into the back section.

SCAR 17 mounts will be the common 5/8-24 adapters but with instructions to flip the spacer so the beveled edge of the spacer is facing the muzzle. SCAR's do not have the common thread relief so the bevel faces the muzzle rather than the shoulder.
