upgrade?

i am looking to upgrade to new equipment. currently on a rock chucker 505 scale. i want something a little more productive.
i would like advice and opinions on which way to go.... or which brand you guys are liking more. i have been leaning toward the rcbs progressive set up

Depends on what your loading. For pistols, I went progressive years ago - a Piggy Back unit on a RockChucker works fine. A hydraulic MEC for shotguns. For rifles, I'm still a single stage guy. Maybe if I was playing some sport where I went through a ton of rounds, I might consider a progressive.

The question is what are loading for, blasting ammo a progressive is the perfect tool, for precision rifle a 550b can be made to work quit well, but not with the powder throw, each charge should be done with an accurate scale, I load everything with single stage presses, but I do have a very exspensive scale, i'm going to add a 550 to my bench soon, then my Gen 2 Prometheus on top of it.

RCBS Chargemaster is a huge time-saver for single stage reloading. also, a giraud trimmer. My buddy can take tumbled brass and have 100 precision match grade rounds complete in 1:45 with these two tools in his arsenal. Thats even counting the 10-15 min tumble time to get the case lube off.
