Hi, I'm new to this place and have one question. What stocks under say $500 accept AI magazines or badger ordinace? I was planning on getting the mcree folding stock but $700+ is to much for a new one.
So folding would be best but not necessary.

None that I know of under $500.

The Mcree is probably your best bet for a chassis that uses AICS mags. And with that it is a very good chassis.

Midway has the B&C Medalist for the Rem 700 on sale for $215 through the end of today. CDI DBM bottom medal is $210. CDI will inlet the stock for another $60. With shipping, you'll be a bit over your $500 budget - but not by much! You'll still need some mags, of course.

you could do the HS Precision or the B&C stock with almost any of the bottom medals. I used the Stiller Precision one and i like it pretty well. it was a bit of a pain to install, but the tangs and screw holes line up with the factory positions, so there is no adjustment needed there.

I purchased a McRee stock just based off what I had come across on the net. All though its only been 3 range trips, it works great. The adjustable comb allows you to dial in the height you need. One thing I would recommend is to purchase the stock bag when you get the stock. Its nice to have for comfortable place to for your cheek, plus your can store your allen wrenches and tools.
