I will be attending a basic Police Sniper course in Sept. I need to find a decent .308 168 grain match grade round. I will be needing 500 rounds. Does anyone know of a good bulk order website to buy good match grade ammo?

Southwest is mine too. Palmetto Armory has good deals too sometimes with FGMM. I prefer the 175 grn myself but the 168 is accurate for shorter ranges ie: Police sniper work.

Id have say Southwest ammo. bought a few boxes from them to test out their ammo. good stuff.

I have always had great success with 168 gr federal gold medal match. Less than $20/box if you look around. I don't know how they make such consistent ammunition, but I have seen many rifles shoot one hole groups with it

I would go buy a box of FGMM, Black Hills, Hornady, etc and try each one before buying a bunch. Generally a rifle will shoot one brand better than another. You would be pretty pissed if you bought a case and found out that your gun doesn't like it.

If you place an order with Southwest Ammo, be prepared for long wait times as they are still filling orders from the last big group buy. Palmetto State is out-of-stock on just about everything in 7.62.

I order a bunch of 168 Federal Gold match from Ammo To go. Pretty good price and fast delivery. Also they tell you if they have it in stock.

If you are LEO you should see which supply company holds your state contract ammo bid. It will be lower then any retail site on the web...much lower...almost cost like $135.00 per case of 200. It could be tax free if purchaced thru your dept.
food for thought....Order soon it can take a lot of time cause the ammo usually ships from the factory....
