Leica CRF 1600 problems?

This rangefinder always gives me a barometric pressure reading of 13.something. Weather info gives me a much different reading. Today for example, the weather info website says it's 30.04. My Leica says it's 13.43. This has a large impact on my ballistics calculator. Wondering if I have a wrong setup with the rangefinder, or is it just giving bad info.

I'm guessing it's in millibars/hectopascals, not inches of mercury.

Actually, on second thought, you probably broke it. I'll give you $250 for it

That is correct. Page 25 of the CRF 1600 manual states that the two unit modes are "meters/Celsius/millibars" or "yards/Fahrenheit/PSI" for the distance/temperature/atmospheric pressure display. I have no idea if they've changed this on the newer 1600-B model.

Re: Leica CRF 1600 problems?

So, does anyone know if you can keep the unit in Yards, and use the metric barometer reading? Or does anyone know if you can switch the Knights Armament Bullet Flight App to use the PSI barometric pressure?

thanks.
