Badger Ordnance rings
Harris swivel bipod
Trijicon Accupoint 2.5-10x56

What do you guys think??

Below is rifle/ target shooting prone with bipod, first time firing at 300yards (normally shoot at 100 w/benchrest)

Re: My first precision rifle!! PIC

Federal Premium Gold Match .308 168g sierra BTHP.

As far as the scope I like the idea of having an illuminated reticle without having to worry about batteries. However I had some trouble focusing the target and the crosshairs at 300, but remember it is a new scope for me and I am a new shooter.

More testing needed.

One positive is that the base/ring/scope combo has very little space between the scope and the gun.

you could have picked a worse rifle, great choice. keep your cheeck on the stock while cycling the bolt and follow through, your groups will shrink.
