I have two badger thrusters. One is a 308 and the other is a 260. It works great. It also removes easy to me depending on how tight u tighten it down.

Re: Badger Thruster or Rad rapid brake Help!

I have a Badger Thruster and a RAD brake, both are very effective brakes.

I've taken the Thruster off twice in 800rds using a strap wrench, once to clean and once to try a buddies can. No big deal taking it off.

Paid a little less to have the RAD brake installed since it didn't need to be timed.

I've taken mine on and off several times with no issues. Just use some paint or a Sharpie to make some index lines (also known as torque striping) so when you put it back on you know how much to torque it down so it's indexed properly and everything lines back up.
