You don't see many of the .300 WM versions of the BA. I have only run into the .338 LM variants at the range (mine is in the foreground, a .338 version behind):
I've had mine for a year now, not quite 1000 rounds through it. You don't really see it shine until you start reloading. I'd be curious to find out if you have massive free bore like mine does. I used a Hornady OAL gauge with a 168gr SMK and the pill was barely holding on. I'd have to dig up my measurements but it wasn't anywhere near SAAMI so I've just been reloading to spec OAL.
Don't you just love the recoil with it? I like to drop in a practice dummy round for the first shot my friends take with it just to see them flinch, but then they take a real shot and you get the "was that it?" look on their faces. The first day I had mine I broke it in with 100 rounds of cheap Federal (starting my brass library) and wasn't even sore.

yea, the recoil is mostly nonexistant in the 300wm. almost everyone i have let shoot it think big gun, big kick, and flinch like crazy the first time they drop the hammer. then they turn around and look at me and say, "i need one of these"
