This is my first post, I have a AI AE, I am currently using a Leupold Mark 4 with a Cadex night vision rail. I place an order for a Us Optics 5-25 and want to know what US Optics rings I should use

Re: Ring height for a AI AE

Thanks, its a MKIII, the measurements from the barrel to the front of the Cadex rail is 1/2 inch to the top.

And do you need rings that adjust for windage?

Re: Ring height for a AI AE

58 mm objective, 34 mm tube, was hoping someone was using the Cadex rail on a Ai chassis with a US Optics 5-25 or 3.2-22. Its a huge scope and my MK111 only has a 20 inch barrel.

Re: Ring height for a AI AE

The Cadex UNS mount is going to be an issue.

This is a photo of a 44mm objective (Falcon 4-14x44) mounted in an ADM RECON-S mount.

There is a good possibility you are going to have some clearance issues with a USO 5-25. I would be checking what the overall length of that scope is. The RECON-S is a pretty tall mount and about the correct height for a PVS-22.

I threw this combo together because the Razor was too low/long in it's normal rings to work with the Cadex rail.

Re: Ring height for a AI AE

Thanks again for the response the scope is 18 inches, I read that article before receiving the Cadex rail. The side view picture of your gun, the eye box is at the hinge on the folding stock. I measured from there and 18 inches will work. I am running the same night vision.
