Suppressors attn: gemtech G-5 owners

I was talking to gemtech yesterday about converting my G-5 to a halo mount so it would work with my battlecomp 2.0. They said they are designing a new mount using battlecomps design that will have the mounting ears on it for a G-5. Just thought it was pretty cool and wanted to pass on the info.

Curious? Why is the battle comp better than the G5 mount?

Its not thats its better but the gemtech mount are only a flashhider and i wanted to have a muzzlebrake when i take the silencer off.

I'd be curious if it's any better with carbon build up. Sometimes it's a bitch to get my G5 off.

I have the same problem after I run a few clips, I think the outside body of a battle comp is ribbed for lack of a better term. Hopefully that will help us with that issue.

My G5 was difficult to get off when it was new. I started putting high temp grease on the outside of the flash hider and it now comes off easily.
