Hi Guys,

I have a Savage BA110 .338 Lapua Magnum. I'd like to see if it's possible to
replace the factory rail with something with more elevation.

Today, I was out shooting 2000 yds. with some buddies and I ran
out of scope. The factory rail has a 20 MOA cant. I was looking to see
if anyone can recommend a rail that will fit
my rifle that has a 40 cant (or more) built in.

Thanks.

Mark

Is your scope able to provide that much 'down' adjustment? That would be 84" of adustment range, (total), in the vertical direction.

I think EGW will make you a custom rail for a fairly reasonable price. Another option would be to buy a one-piece mount with 20 moa built in.

I have two custom Murphy rails, not only is Cameron awesome to work with, his products are outstanding.

Stainless steel or titanium. Both of mine are SS, about a week turn around time.

40MOA might be useful at 2K, but what about 100 yards. You will have to adjust your turrets such that you will be looking out of the edge of the scope. Something to think about.
