Rifle Scopes Burris xtr rings

Does anyone have any experience with the Xtreme Tactical rings?

I saw them once and my impression was OPMG those are HUGE! I recently ordered different rings from from SWFA and there was a stocking problem, they offered to upgrade the rings I ordered to the Burris to get my order to me faster.

Big time props to SWFA, its rare to see a company that is willing to go the extra mile for their customers.

Can't find too many people talking about the xtr rings, so I figured I would ask you guys what you thought of them.

They work very well and are on all of my scopes except the S&B. Never had a minutes trouble out of them.

Cool, thanks for the replies guys. Planning on posting photos of the glass and rings that I am currently running vs the the SS and burris that are coming from SWFA.

Ran some on my AR, worked well enough, didn't mar the scope at all, like that they don't fall to pieces when removed like some do, they are quite large, looked kinda funny, but I got used to it.

Have had a set on a M14 for years, no problems, no marks on the scope tubes. It's nice to remove a scope after two or three years and not have any, or very little sign of mounting.

.....and you can order a replacement top half with a rail, for adding accessories.
They are a good value.

I run 'em on my 223AI and 260...work well/last long time.

I'm sure they're good. I use the Weaver four hole ones on mine to secure a Viper PST and they're solid too.

I'm not dragging my rifle across rocks or in the back of a squad car, so my $30 weavers work great.

I have them on my AR 10 and my gap crusader for the price i think they are very good.
