Re: Dad and Daughters bolt guns

The barrel lenght on her rifle is 26 inches. She is only 9. She started off at 4 years old on my lap shooting a pink cricket and we have upgraded to a 10-22 and now she has a full blown 10-22 custom and has logged over 7k rounds through it. She can consitanly hit a 1 inch cirlce at 75 yards on a spinner. I took out my 10-22 magnum that is converted to 17 hmr and she was hitting a 1.5 circle at 100. So now its time to move to 1000. I trust her more than 99% on the range. So I put together a gun for her. We will see next april how she does.

Deadly I owe you one.

Good looking guns. Nice when you get the family involved in something you all can have fun with.

Ya still have time to try out Rayners one more time before the season ends. We still plan to go a couple times before the match to keep tweaking. Wind kept scores down last match but ya missed a fun time.

Re: Dad and Daughters bolt guns

It sure is better to get the kids involved in something like the sport of shooting, outdoors and such. There are so many things that they can get into that isn't quite as healthy for them, or the family. Keep them interested in things like this, and maybe we can keep them out of trouble.
