Be interesting to see if it causes any barrel issues (bulges, etc).

Very possible that the bullet (or gas leaking around the rifling) pushes the water out fast enough that the water does not create an obstruction.

Very, very cool video. Would love to see it slowed down even further. The 1 sec to 2 sec jump just doesn't give enough resolution to really see if a gas bulge comes out before the slug.

I was amazed how fast it slowed down, too! I would have expected at least 8 - 10 feet of travel.

I saw something similer on G&A TV. It bulged the barrel on a 1911 after 5 shots and after the 6th it wouldn't function anymore and was jammed half open beyond repair.
