Last year I was home by nine, hanging my goat while wife fixed breakfast by 9 AM.

This year I didn't get one until about 3PM.

Seems like I just couldn't get close, though they didn't seemed spooked (not as many hunters this year as there normally is).

Maybe I was always in the wrong spot. Had to break my rule of not hunting past 300 yards. Got this guy at 578 per my GPS. Everything else was 800 plus.

Not a record by a long shot but at least I didn't get skunked.

Looks like a fine buck - congrats to you!
I'll be in Kaycee Wy in 4 days from today chasing antelopes for a week, can't wait to be back there!!! From what I'm seeing, looks like the weather might be a bit chilly next week:)

Looks like a nice one.

When I was in Casper last year there were 1000's of those lil suckers on the BLM land I was hunting. I watched them all day for 4 days.

Model 70 Winchester Featherweight, 270 Win with 150 Hornady Interbonds, Mv 2883 FPS Average.

I know its over kill on antelope but I wanted to see how this load would work, I'm planning on taking it elk hunting on the 15th.
