I notice a lot of you guys use diff MOA rails ..

my build will be a 7mm-08 and I don't normally
shoot 200 ish yards but I want to reach out
to 600 ish .. so will a 0 MOA work or would I
have to have a 20, 40, MOA ???

(sorry if this has been asked but couldn't find
it if it has :)

If you are zeroed at 200 yds, the correction for 600 will be about 12 MOA. A zero or ten would be my choice.

Re: question on scope rails

Edds is right on. Unless you have a scope that has almost no adjustment range, you are good to go with any standard base. A canted base will not hurt, but you should not need a 20.

Re: question on scope rails

You won't need the 20MOA base at that range, but it won't get in the way either. I say go ahead and put on the 20MOA just in case you ever decide to go further.

Re: question on scope rails

20MOA is the perfect number to use for the rail. Once you start shooting out past the yardage you mentioned, you will eventually go much futher out... it is almost a given.

The bug will strike... and you will strike back. Trust me.
