Rifle Scopes scope and base question

I have a Rem 700 adl varmint in 308. I have a leupold vx3 4.5-14 AO with 71 moa of adjustment. Will I be able to hit 100 to 1000 yards with a 20 moa base?

Is it 1" or 30mm tube?

You should have plenty of elevation adjustment range to achieve a 100yd zero and reach out to 1,000yds based on that setup (assuming use of a proper bullet for 1k shooting), but whether or not you'll be able to actually hit anything at those ranges depends on a lot of other factors!

"should" is the key word... i have a 700 308 with 20moa bast and a 24x pst on top... ran out of adjustment around 1k,, makes no sence, since my load is 10mils to 1k

I doubt you will have enough to dial to 1000 and maintain a 100yrd zero.
