Keep us posted on the m2008, i know it's not new by any means but i find i don't see them as much as others.
Also did surefire cancel the 5" 7.62 brake like the ones on the Gladius, M40, etc.?

No, they are still available.
The Badger M2008 is a great action, my most accurate rifle is built on a Badger WSM action. They are TOP notch custom actions when GAP builds off them!

I was thinking of doing a Shorty .308 on an M2008 with either a Manners Folder with Mini Chassis or a W3 Folder.

Absolutely love my Badger M2008 260 Rem in my W-3 chassis. Looks great and shoots even better. The actions is a tank, and works so smooth. Good looking rifle Joe...

i have the surefire K break on my GAP10 uppers so i stuck it on this one too, it allows 5/8:24 threads without that surefire shoulder from the longer break and still is really effective.
i'd have to look at the build sheet for profile, etc. honestly can't remember its my first 7-08 so i let the experts assist me a bit in the specs.

I love that stock from about the trigger/mag area back to the stock. I just dont like the looks of the forend but what doesnt make sense is I have a two AICS builds that I really like and the forends are more or less the same square style. Maybe I just havent seen the right pic. Either way nice rifle man what boooletts are you planning on running?
