I'm interested. I ordered a 22" gap 10 a few weeks ago. Not meaning to thread jack cause i am also looking for case suggestions, but what other options did you order on your gap?

I have the 22" barrel(OAL 42" w/ PRS stock and SF brake) and the minimum you'll need is 42" interior space. If you want a pelican you'll want a 1750 unless you want to separate the upper from the lower for storage. If you're looking for a discreet case then get a 45"+.

Yeah the 1750 works best if you want a hard case. If you want a soft I'd go with either a good drag bag or a 45"+ discreet case.
Also I would pick up a Cascadia Armament Design QD attachment for the PRS and some sort of flush cup attachment for the front rail. I have a Gear Sector on mine.

Unless you plan to travel with this rifle, save yourself some coin and get a soft case.

Mine barley fits height wise in a SKB Double rifle, but lots of room in the pelican .
Flying, the GAP 10 and a Pierce Eng 300wm in an AX chassis is exactly 50.4 lbs inside the SKB, with mags removed!

I've been thinking about this myself, not with a GAP 10 unfortunately but with a DPMS. I have a rather small car and was thinking about getting a Pelican 1700 and separating the upper from the lower. Can anyone tell me how long the upper is by itself?

Only if you throw it. All my guns go from safe to bag to range and back...
My first custom rifle travelled in a big storm case and it was an utter pain in the ass...

Only if you throw it. All my guns go from safe to bag to range and back...

Yeah, mine will see some field / hunting trip time, with gear and stuff piled in the truck... Might have to still go hard case...

With as much gear as I've broken I'm gonna have to stick to a hard case for traveling lol...

Hard case to fly, any other time it is a PITA. Even with a truck.
