Wanted to see if anyone else has this setup as I am looking for advice on a mount. Any day I should have a Nightforce 5.5x22x56 for my DPMS Lr.308 I was looking for some options for the best scope mount and height for this setup. Compared to the price of the scope the mount will be small so really just looking for the best regardless of price. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

That was fast. The gun came with a one piece JP mount that we lapped even though it didn't really need it. Are the one piece ones worth the extra money?

I have the nightforce unimount at 1.125" height. This is sufficiently high to clear the objective over the hand guard, but not so tall that the scope is way out in space over the barrel. I've got a 50 mm objective scope but there is more than enough clearance for a 56. And, this mount has a 20 moa cant.

I think that you will find the super high rings to be too tall if you have the integrated elevated picatinny rail.

We recommend the Spuhr mounts first, followed by the Nightforce or Badger mounting options.

The Spuhr's are works of art. To name a few features: extremely well machined and finished, super durable, easy to mount other items like ACIs and red dots and have bubble levels built in.

The distance from the top of the rail to the bottom of the bell is 7/16". That is a 6-24x50mm Bushnell scope.
